Baker's Cay Resort is a luxurious oceanfront property located in the breathtaking Florida Keys. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to provide exceptional service to our discerning guests. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the friendly face that welcomes and assists our guests throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Welcome Guests: Create a positive first impression by greeting and welcoming guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Check-In and Check-Out Procedures: Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide Information and Assistance: Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, and respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Process Guest Payments: Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain the Front Desk Area: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Assist with Administrative Tasks: Assist in administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling reservations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior Cash Handling Experience: Prior cash handling experience is necessary.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills are required.
  • Computer Skills: Very good computer skills are necessary.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to Multitask: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Experience: Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Hotel Operations: Knowledge of hotel or resort operations is a plus.
