About the Role

We are seeking a Special Events Flagging professional to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our events team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our events and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Answer questions promptly and courteously, providing accurate information and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inform customers of the parking rate, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance, adhering to our company's uniform policy and representing SP+ in a professional manner.
  • Give directions to customers to various locations in the area, providing helpful and accurate information.
  • Report any unknown, observed, or suspected violation of company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the supervisors, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:

  • Less than High School education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work the 3rd shift and weekends may be a requirement.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
  • Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
