- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of bank products and services, including other lines of business
- Stay up-to-date with digital channel technology and educate customers on its benefits
- Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and external interactions, including outbound calling, service to sales, and appointment setting
- Acquire new customers through prospecting efforts while maintaining and deepening existing customer relationships
- Utilize strong individual sales and referral skills to identify and close sales opportunities and contribute to personal and branch sales goals
- Promote branch growth through the development and retention of new and existing customers
- Partner with other lines of business to identify and refer customer needs
- Provide solutions for lending needs and serve as a contact for customer problem resolution
- Review individual performance and make necessary adjustments to meet sales performance goals
- Perform teller functions and cash transactions, balancing cash each day
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations
- Possess or be able to obtain an NMLS registration
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in banking or financial services preferred
- Minimum of 1 year developing customer relationships, achieving sales/production goals, and building referral sources preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Teller experience strongly preferred
- Customer service experience required
- Lending experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to exercise sound business judgment
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to details
- Flexible, able to adapt to change
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift objects up to 30 pounds
Salary offered will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan or a discretionary profit-sharing bonus program.
