Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying and addressing their insurance needs, and providing expert guidance on risk management and insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for day-to-day needs.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client businesses, identifying potential risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with producers and underwriters to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Process change requests, endorsements, and other client-related tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and report on claims activity, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing losses.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with insurance carriers, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial lines account management experience, with a strong understanding of insurance markets and risk management principles.
  • Active Kentucky Property & Casualty License required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and agency management systems, such as Applied Epic.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers.
