Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team at McGriff. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for marketing and servicing smaller and less complex commercial accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers to ensure excellent service and meet business objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive client service plans to address client needs and risk management goals.
  • Lead the client service team in service activities related to administration, billing, claims issues, and problem-solving.
  • Coordinate internal and external activities to ensure timely and accurate handling of new and renewal accounts.
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities to increase revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients, coordinating meetings with clients and producers to present renewal options.
  • Independently prepare marketing information for smaller and less complex accounts, providing required information to producers and participating in presenting options to clients.
  • Manage the implementation process, preparing and delivering applicable forms to clients.
  • Formulate plans with producers to conduct relationship management meetings and visits with assigned clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and legislative changes, attending seminars and classes as needed.
  • Mentor team members to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
  • Five years of relevant insurance industry experience.
  • Appropriate insurance licenses.
  • Strong client relations skills, with excellent communication and service orientation.
  • Ability to utilize leadership skills, providing direction, feedback, and training while motivating others to maximize productivity and team morale.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
