Faculty Position in Oral Radiology

About the Position
We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our team at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the field of oral radiology.
Responsibilities
- Teaching
- Develop and teach courses in oral radiology for undergraduate and graduate students
- Participate in pre-clinical and clinical education in oral radiology
- Scholarship/Research
- Conduct research in oral radiology and related fields
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Service
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and programs in oral radiology
Requirements
- Education
- DMD or DDS degree or foreign degree equivalent
- Experience
- Minimum of two years postgraduate training in CODA/ADA accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency program
- One year advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) program
- Certifications
- Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (OMFR) from a CODA-accredited residency program
Rank and Salary
The rank and salary for this position will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be eligible for promotion and tenure in accordance with Augusta University's policies and procedures.
