About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Consultant to join our team at Barrett Business Services, Inc. (BBSI). As a key member of our HR team, you will provide guidance and support to our business-owner clients and internal teams, helping them navigate complex HR issues and achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR guidance and support to clients and internal teams, including employment law compliance, employee relations, organizational development, and workers' compensation administration.
  • Develop and implement effective HR metrics and benchmarking strategies to measure and improve HR initiatives and practices.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify and address HR-related issues, and develop solutions to drive business results.
  • Stay up-to-date on current laws, events, industry trends, and economic factors that may impact BBSI and its clients, and provide expert advice and guidance.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, and serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in hands-on and strategic HR management, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Multi-client/units consulting experience a plus, with the ability to work with diverse clients and teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and drive business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
