Position Summary: We are looking for a Clinical Dietitian to become part of our Nutrition Team within an acute care medical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver medical nutrition therapy, including assessments, dietary modifications, and patient education.
- Adhere to guidelines set forth in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting bodies, while maintaining patient confidentiality and rights.
- Provide training and mentorship to patient services staff and interns as needed.
- Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives, departmental meetings, and facility-wide quality improvement programs.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure as required.
- Preferred one year of experience in a hospital setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
