Job Summary

Sunnyside Nursing and Post-Acute Care is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning the respiratory portion of the patient's discharge plan
  • Interpret respiratory department policies and procedures to personnel, patients, and government agencies
  • Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients with airway needs
  • Provide oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management
  • Conduct coughing and deep breathing exercises and related maneuvers
  • Perform arterial puncture to obtain ABGs
  • Consult with physicians and follow protocols for ventilator management
Requirements
  • Active and valid Respiratory Therapist License
  • Authorized to work in the United States
