Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a residential installation crew of 3-5 associates, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with clients to understand their landscape and gardening needs, and develop comprehensive project plans to meet their expectations.
  • Installation Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in constructing retaining walls, installing hardscape and softscape materials, and constructing paver patios and walks.
  • Horticulture and Bed Care: Possess a solid understanding of horticulture and bed care, including knowledge of ornamental trees, shrubs, and perennials.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate Bobcats and other landscape construction equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all aspects of the installation process.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in residential landscape installation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend job instructions and information.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of materials such as natural stone, timber retaining walls, pavers, brick, and perennial plant materials, as well as basic understanding of irrigation systems and repairs.
  • Physical Demands: Meet all physical requirements of the position, including the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
