Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Outpatient
Role: Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT)
Focus Area: Sports Health
Work Schedule: Minimum engagement required once every three months
Employment Type: PRN (As Needed)
Compensation: Starting rate of $30/hour with a guaranteed minimum of four hours pay
Key Responsibilities
Engage with over 200 contracts that encompass a variety of athletic events, including youth sports, middle and high school competitions, club soccer, and collegiate athletics. Responsibilities also extend to:
- Major seasonal events such as Dallas Cup International Soccer Tournament, Dallas Marathon, and USA Gymnastics.
- Commitment to a minimum work requirement every three months.
- Provision of necessary supplies and liability insurance.
- Utilization of the When I Work application for efficient scheduling and communication.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience working with athletes is required.
- Candidates must hold a valid Texas Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Flexibility in managing work schedules.
- A strong dedication to providing quality care to athletes.
