Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at a 327-bed medical center in El Paso, Texas. As a Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in our inpatient rehabilitation unit.

Our medical center is a Joint Commission accredited facility that offers comprehensive medical services, including cardiology, women's services, oncology, and rehabilitation. We are committed to providing high-quality care to residents of the Greater El Paso area and have received national accolades for our service, including the Silver Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association for high standards in stroke care, CARF accreditation, and a prestigious Pathway to Excellence designation.
Job Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing physical therapy evaluations, reassessments, and treatments to patients in our inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Participating in team conferences, family training, and home assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Texas State License in Physical Therapy
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
