Job Summary:

The Traveling Merchandiser is a key role at GPAC, responsible for coordinating and monitoring the company's merchandising system across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandising and Product Management:
    • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product launches and promotions.
  • Travel and Territory Management:
    • Travel extensively throughout a multi-state territory to ensure merchandising standards are met.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with store staff and management to drive business results.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Produce regular reports on merchandising performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and maintain high-quality product displays and store appearances.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar retail merchandising environment.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Work Environment:

The Traveling Merchandiser will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel required. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 80 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
