Job Title: Dining Room Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at True Connection Communities-Pine Ridge of Garfield. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining room, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the food distribution and serving responsibilities among the food servers.
  • Ensure visibility during meal times by seating and greeting residents, addressing any concerns, and ensuring that their needs have been met.
  • Prepare schedules and assign tasks to wait staff, including assigning tables and closing duties.
  • Ensure wait staff meets company standards including appearance and dress attire, customer service standards, and proper food handling techniques.
  • Train wait staff on all operating procedures and menu education.
  • Monitor and evaluate food quality for presentation, temperature, and serving portion size. Communicate with food kitchen personnel for adjustments and share resident feedback.
  • Monitor and adjust residents accounts for meal and charge accuracy.
  • Ensure floor charts and tables are set up correctly.
  • Assist servers as needed with table service.
  • Maintain Toast POS System by adding menu items, adding/deleting employees to Toast system.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years' experience in fine dining.
  • Dining Room Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.

Working Conditions:

This position works in a fast-paced restaurant environment with exposure to heat, flames, cold temperatures, slippery floors, and sharp cooking tools. This position may work in close contact with others. This position must comply with food safety regulations, which include appropriate clothing and protective gear such as hairnets, masks, disposable gloves, and slip-resistant shoes.
