Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate Ingredient and Allergen Labeling
    • Oversee the accurate listing and labeling of all ingredients on the menu and salad bar, with special attention to identifying allergens for the safety of all diners.
  • Cash Management and Shift Closeout
    • Handle and reconcile all cash and charge slips, ensuring accurate tender types and financial tracking after each shift. Lock and secure the building, ensure dining areas are safe, and properly store supplies after every meal service.
  • Coordinate Dining Room Staffing and Operations
    • Lead Dining Room Attendants, ensuring the dining area is fully stocked, properly staffed, and that meal service follows a strict schedule. Organize and oversee cleanup after each meal and during school breaks to maintain a clean and orderly dining area.
  • Maintain Sanitation Standards and Compliance
    • Ensure all Dining Room and Dish Room staff comply with sanitation guidelines and adhere to the required dress code. Track employee start and finish times for smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
    • Serve Safe certification or willingness to obtain it after hire is a plus.
    • Food service or supervisory experience (1-2 years) is highly desirable.
  • Physical Demands and Working Conditions
    • Requires practice of proper health sanitation. Must physically be able to lift 10-20 lbs. numerous times each day and up to 60 lbs. frequently, some items are lifted above waist level. Requires frequent and repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and turning. Requires frequent walking and long periods of time standing.
