  • Work in conjunction with the leadership of Monroe Street United Methodist Church to further the Center's mission.
  • Oversee program managers and ensure accountability to the Board of Directors for all programs and services provided by the Center.
  • Manage the financial performance of the Center, focusing on resource development through relationship building, grant writing, and fundraising efforts.
  • Strengthen relationships with the communities served by the Center, connecting them with resources available in the broader Toledo area.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and development of staff and volunteers at the Center.
  • Oversee marketing, public relations, and communication strategies that enhance the Center's visibility and reputation within the community.

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities with a successful track record in non-profit management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in people management and development.
  • Experience in fostering transparent, informed, and collaborative decision-making processes.
  • Skilled in active listening and conflict resolution.
  • Background in fundraising and grant writing.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
