Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our dedicated team at LBH-Northwest Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cardiac imaging and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • CHEMO: Chemotherapy
  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Tech Cert Verification: National
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
  • STABLE
  • CEUs: Continuing Education Units
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
  • State License Verification
  • NURSYS Verification: RN, LPN/LVN, AP
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Pass/Fail Testing: EKG/Medication
  • CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Medication Test: Pharmacology Competency Exam

Position Details
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-time travelers are not accepted.
  • Certifications: BLS and RDCS are mandatory.
  • Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, including at least one weekend day.
  • Responsibilities: Perform Adult Echocardiograms and Transesophageal Echocardiograms. Proficient in utilizing Definity Contrast for cardiac diagnostics, including shortness of breath and chest pain evaluations.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with 3D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, and TEE is essential.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with Phillips and Cerner systems is required.
Additional Information
  • Documentation: I9 and Lotus I9 Attestation are required.
  • ID Verification: Government-issued photo ID is necessary.
  • Certifications: AHA Provider Certification (Instructor card included); RQI is acceptable.
  • Continuing Education: Stroke and Trauma CEUs are mandatory.
  • Specific Requirements: Adherence to document requirements for LBH-Northwest Hospital.
