Job Description

A school in the Plano area is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. The position entails working with a 2nd-3rd grade, conducting evaluations, diagnosing speech disorders, and developing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and provide treatment for communication disorders
  • Develop customized treatment plans to address the unique needs of diverse patients
  • Conduct screenings to identify voice or speech disorders
  • Educate staff and their families on speech disorders, including causes related to disabilities and traumatic events
  • Maintain detailed records of student conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
