Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

CommuniCare Family of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Cumberland Healthcare Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing therapy services to our residents and making a direct impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients/residents with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Plan and conduct rehabilitative treatment programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive problems.
  • Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on safe swallowing techniques and provide ways to practice new skills.
  • Attend interdisciplinary meetings to relay clinical findings and make recommendations to the rehab team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.
