Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Unity Health, working night shifts from 7pm to 7am. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of an RN.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
  • Support the organization's mission, vision, and values by applying knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity, spiritual and emotional needs into patient care.
  • Contribute to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques demonstrating positive outcomes in patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and current Arkansas licensure as a licensed practical nurse.
  • Ability to utilize the nursing process in providing nursing care, including administering treatments and medication, collecting patient data, collaborating with other healthcare providers, and providing education to patients and their significant others.
  • Physical requirements include maintaining good physical and emotional well-being, assisting with lifting and moving patients, pushing carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment, and maneuvering throughout the hospital in response to emergencies.
