Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong nursing background and excellent communication skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, identification of nursing problems, implementation, and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current licensure in the State of Arkansas
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to practice nursing as described by the following definition: "The diagnosis and treatment of human responses to actual or potential health alterations"
- Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care including but not limited to administering prescribed treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests, formulating a plan of care using the problem list, collaborating with other health care providers, and providing education to patients and/or significant others

Others

This role requires a considerable amount of physical work and may involve exposure to infectious body fluids and malodorous environments. The ideal candidate will be able to lift and move patients, push carts and wheelchairs, and perform tasks that require visual and auditory skills. A significant amount of writing and computer entry is also required. Weekend Option Days are available for this position.
