Job Overview

Position Title: CNC Machining Specialist

Role Summary: The selected individual will be responsible for the operation and programming of CNC machinery. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints is essential for producing accurate parts. The role involves programming CNC turning centers, setting up the machinery, and ensuring optimal operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and program CNC machinery efficiently.
  • Analyze and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Utilize G-codes and software such as Fusion 360 or Gibbs CAM for programming.
  • Establish optimal feeds and speeds for tooling.
  • Conduct quality inspections to verify that products meet design specifications.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with CNC machinery operation.
  • Strong programming skills for CNC turning centers.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with G-codes.
  • Proficiency in Fusion 360 and Gibbs CAM.
  • Knowledge of setting up tooling feeds and speeds.
  • Experience in quality inspection processes.

Job Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Environment: The role is situated in a clean, organized workspace with a smaller team dynamic.
