The Account Executive plays a crucial role in meeting and exceeding local and national sales goals by selling our outstanding inventory to qualified advertisers. This involves developing new business through direct customer outreach and high-level agency contacts, as well as presenting comprehensive proposals and competitive pricing structures in collaboration with our Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive revenue goal attainment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships, communicating strategies for meeting customer needs.
- Conduct outside sales activities, including obtaining orders and/or contracts for Clear Channel services, while away from the office.
- Determine campaign pricing with guidelines from management.
- Oversee projects from start to finish and ensure client satisfaction.
- Deliver proof of performance to clients.
- Drive clients around the market to show outdoor locations.
- Communicate and coordinate with Charting and other internal departments.
- Complete other duties as assigned or requested.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.
- 2-3 years of progressive sales experience.
- Demonstrated track record of business-to-business sales experience strongly preferred.
- Residency within the territory.
- Account Management: Building long-term, value-based relationships with accounts, developing business, and maximizing revenue while reducing time and costs.
- Fostering Communication: Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and effectively getting the message across.
- Initiative: Dealing with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise.
- Managing the Sales Process: Following the organization's sales methodology in applying skills and resources to achieve sales targets.
- Negotiating: Seeking to resolve different perspectives or matters of dispute by discovering shared interests and finding mutually acceptable solutions.
- Networking: Establishing, sustaining, and fostering professional contacts to build, enhance, and connect networks for work purposes.
- Presentation: Preparing and delivering presentations in a variety of formal and informal settings, engaging the audience, and managing the logistical components of the presentation.
