Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct public safety officers and ambassadors to ensure effective security operations.
  • Monitor and respond to emergency situations, including incidents, accidents, and crimes.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to prevent and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in security services or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a university environment.
  • Prior hospital security supervisor experience.
  • Bilingual in a second language.
  • Experience with Taser and use of force principles.
