Job Description

GE Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our Facilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining buildings and systems supporting site infrastructure, managing the work of hourly employees and contracted services, and making business-critical decisions in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the activities of an hourly team within the Facilities Organization
  • Achieve highest safety levels in the Company
  • Develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plans
  • Coordinate consistent and effective workorder transition
  • Achieve highest levels of internal and external customer service
  • Develop and implement process controls
  • Support Operations Manager in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources
  • Mentor and motivate team in safety, quality, and productivity improvements
  • Coordinate resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy
  • Identify, develop, and execute a deck of projects to improve existing process quality and lower cost
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, supply chain, or similar technical field with a minimum of 5 years of prior experience in construction, operations, or maintenance
  • Associate Degree in a technical, construction, or engineering field with minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical and electrical construction fields, including proven ability to scope, estimate, and oversee the construction of projects
  • High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of prior experience in construction, operations, or maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience leading teams and projects
  • High computer literacy – ability to use Microsoft Office to analyze data for decisioning
  • Ability to drive innovation, execute plans, and think creatively
  • Able to adapt to constant changing work assignments and fast-paced work environment
  • Lean Six Sigma background and certification
