Key Responsibilities- Respond to work orders from residents by assessing issues and making needed repairs, including electrical and plumbing repairs, and repairing drywall, doors, and other building fixtures.
- Patch, paint, and clean apartment interiors to specified standards and schedules.
- Clean and assist with the upkeep of the apartment community and common areas.
- Maintain property exterior and grounds, including snow removal and removal of debris from grounds.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and professional manner, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Complete required logs, work orders, and other documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Comply with all applicable safety regulations and company policies.
- Basic plumbing, electrical, painting/patching, and carpentry skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in apartments and common areas.
- Knowledge of painting and patching techniques.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and techniques.
- Ability to work on-call and overtime hours.
- Ability to maintain professionalism while in continuous contact with residents and other employees.
- Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Ability to operate a company truck and maintain it in a clean and safe condition.
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to maintain a positive relationship with coworkers and supervisors.
