We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication, organizational, and meticulous skills to oversee the security and operational management of our facilities. You will engage with our clients, team members, and service providers both in person and through digital communication platforms to facilitate access to internal systems, manage facility entry, and coordinate employee badging processes. Your role will involve safeguarding company assets and personnel by developing and enforcing security measures, as well as conducting evaluations and inspections of security processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all external vendor assessments or repairs to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee security protocols in alignment with military standards, the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other relevant government regulations.
  • Collaborate with government and military officials on matters of force protection, operational security, physical security, and security engineering. Ensure site security certification is maintained and address any non-compliance issues.
  • Conduct thorough physical audits of the site based on established criteria. Address a variety of security concerns, including architectural security, electronic data traffic, and access control. Develop and maintain Security Plans and other related documentation, providing guidance and recommendations to management for necessary improvements.
  • Work closely with Human Resources to manage hiring, onboarding, training, and other essential processes.
  • Oversee internal inspections of HVAC systems, fire safety equipment, electrical systems, and building integrity. Capable of performing in-house repairs or coordinating with external service providers.
  • Assist the Accounts Payable department with invoicing related to facility management and ensure compliance with all inspections.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business operations, security management, logistics, or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in security administration.
    • Alternatively, an Associate's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of security administration experience.
    • Or a High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of security administration experience.
  • Experience in facility management is required.
  • Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting materials up to 40 lbs., and working in a warehouse environment under varying temperature conditions.
  • Must possess an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance; US Citizenship is required to maintain this clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM) from IHMM.
