Operations Support Lead

Beacon Mobility is in search of an Operations Support Lead who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and supporting our organizational objectives. This position involves leveraging data and analytics to derive insights that drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize comprehensive expertise in data analytics to engage stakeholders and support the realization of operational benefits.
  • Analyze extensive data sets to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions that inform strategic business choices.
  • Collaborate with various business leaders to gather data and key performance indicators, ensuring data is cleaned and prepared for thorough analysis.
  • Design and implement data modeling processes to create algorithms and predictive models that foster a culture of safety.
  • Engage with stakeholders to fully understand their challenges and develop models to address these issues effectively.
  • Create tools to automate data collection, providing business leaders with key performance indicators and dashboards for informed decision-making.
  • Apply advanced data science methodologies to predict behaviors and outcomes.
  • Employ machine learning techniques, visualizations, and statistical analyses to extract insights from diverse data sets.
  • Guide and mentor team members on best practices and actionable analyses.
  • Craft compelling narratives that illuminate the factors influencing business performance.
  • Promote evidence-based decision-making by collaborating with key stakeholders and enhancing data accessibility.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.). A graduate degree is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a quantitative analytics or data modeling capacity, delivering solutions in a business context.
  • Strong proficiency in coding, data management, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Solid understanding of relational database principles.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher is preferred.
  • Familiarity with targeted marketing strategies utilizing data science modeling techniques.

  • Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions while evaluating trends.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
