Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Project Supervisor to lead our fiber optic and coaxial operations team. As a key member of our Ervin Cable organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, splicing, and enclosing of fiber optic and coaxial telecommunications plant.

About the Role

This is a supervisory position that requires a good working knowledge of telecommunications network structure and familiarity with fiber optic technologies. You will work closely with employees to coordinate activities, review tasks and reports, and implement processes to ensure accurate and complete task completion.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Development
    • Supervise and develop employees to achieve project goals and objectives
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Quality Assurance
    • Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Process Improvement
    • Implement and maintain processes to assist in task completion
  • Communication
    • Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers to facilitate project progress

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Associates degree in a related field or 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience
    • Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks
    • Able to work safely with or without supervision
