About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to lead Technology Development related programs within our Agile Mission Systems Group. In this role, you will contribute to various applied physics programs ranging from low Technology Readiness Level (TRL) concepts to high TRL fielded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop programs in areas of optical communications, RF systems, position navigation and timing (PNT), high-frequency (HF) communications, machine learning, and/or sensor development for land, maritime, airborne, and space platforms.
  • Influence and drive technical approach across wide spectrum of Customers and industry partners.
  • Perform system analysis, trades, generate requirements, develop system architectures and designs.
  • Contribute to white papers, concept studies, and proposals.
  • Interface with customers, contractors, and engineering groups assigned to projects.
  • Support development of test plans and manage integration, verification, and validation of sensors and systems.
  • Troubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination requirements, and special requirements.

Requirements:
This role requires a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, seven or more years of experience with a master's degree, or four or more years of experience with a PhD may substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise in application of engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice with ability to organize, plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones with some experience in project leadership. Experience in developing laser systems, mechanical enclosures, algorithms and signal processing, machine learning is also required. Additionally, systems engineering experience and knowledge of land-based and aircraft payload integration is desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $105,890 - $189,545 per year. We offer relocation assistance, hybrid work style, and US Citizenship is required for certain positions. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
