Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Actuation Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will design and develop actuators for aircraft flight control and utility applications.

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing and developing actuators for aircraft flight control and utility applications. This includes:

  • Determining annual and multi-year technical objectives for designated engineering systems or projects/programs.
  • Representing the assigned systems or projects/programs as a prime technical expert.
  • Acting as an expert consultant and advisor in identified areas of engineering.
  • Advising or directing the activities of assigned projects/programs to achieve technical objectives.
  • Directing and allocating technical resources and professional staff to achieve objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Progressive engineering experience with a focus on aerospace actuation systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications

We welcome applicants with experience in:

  • Bearing selection and sizing.
  • Motor selection and sizing.
  • Gear design and analysis.
  • 3D CAD modeling, drawing generation, and checking.
  • Finite Element Analysis.
  • ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $116,480 - $208,505 based on location and experience. Additionally, we provide relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.
