Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead our team of electricians on large-scale electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations, including distribution systems, lighting and lighting control systems, HVAC equipment, and conduit and wire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager with planning, organization, and staffing for assigned projects
  • Analyze bid documents and existing site conditions to outline the scope of work, including general conditions and requirements
  • Identify risks in the scope of work to ensure related costs are covered
  • Establish objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards to complete the scope of work per contract documents
  • Manage a team of electricians, assign daily tasks, and provide materials and equipment to complete the scope of work
  • Manage crew labor hours, material procurement, scheduling equipment, and daily production reporting
  • Lead safety meetings and ensure the use of required PPE by all crew members
  • Run conduit/wire and install/terminate devices
  • Troubleshoot and perform quality control testing
  • Conduct pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, punch walks, and turnover
Requirements
  • 5+ years of field experience as a commercial electrician
  • 3+ years of field experience as a Foreman overseeing large electrical projects
  • Well-rounded knowledge of various electrical installations, including distribution systems, lighting and lighting control systems, HVAC equipment, and conduit and wire
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency, and complete them in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to create, navigate, search, and update company systems (emails, work orders, reports, etc.)
  • Ability to use ProCore and create daily reports and document job progress
  • Proficient with creating, editing, and analyzing Excel spreadsheets and Word documents
