Job Summary: We're seeking an advanced practice provider to join our section of existing APPs in Austin. The ideal candidate will be interested in hospital encounters, including consultations, procedures, and follow-ups. Existing experience performing procedures is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Hospital-based consultations, procedures, and follow-ups
  • Limited outpatient pre/post procedure clinic

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a physician assistant or surgeon assistant educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant
  • Passage of PANCE within 6 attempts
  • NCCPA Certification
  • Passage of the jurisprudence exam
  • 20 hours a week practice for 40 weeks in one of the two years preceding application

Salary and Benefits: Malpractice and health insurance are fully covered. A competitive salary is offered, with additional compensation available through productivity incentives and call opportunities. 401k and profit-sharing plans are also available.

Work Environment: Our workflow is highly optimized for efficiency, with radiology assistants/support staff and in-house IT. We cover various facility types, including stroke centers and level I trauma centers. Outpatient clinical duties are limited, with some pre-procedure or post-procedure patient encounters in our interventional radiology clinic.
