About the Role
As a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Spine Surgery, you will play a vital role in evaluating pre-operative and post-operative spine surgery patients in the clinic and hospital settings. Working closely with surgeons, you will provide exceptional patient care, first assist in the operating room, and conduct diagnostic procedures. Your expertise will be invaluable in managing health conditions, educating patients and their families, and performing preventative health assessments.

Responsibilities
* First assist in the operating room to ensure seamless surgical processes
* Conduct thorough patient assessments, ordering diagnostic tests as needed, and interpreting results to inform treatment decisions
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, documenting all interactions and interventions
* Educate patients and their families on preventative health strategies, disease management, and community resources
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive, coordinated care

Requirements
To excel in this role, you must possess:
* A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas
* 1 year of experience in Acute Care or related field
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices
