Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations, adhering to established professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Engage in systematic assessment and data collection, focusing on various aspects of patient health, including physiological, psychosocial, and cultural factors, while promoting patient and family education.
  • Evaluate patient conditions and age-specific healthcare needs; establish treatment goals and prescribe suitable clinical interventions.
  • Order necessary laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures based on patient health assessments, facilitating timely and appropriate treatment based on results.
  • Provide direct clinical care to all assigned patients, ensuring compliance with established standards of care and organizational policies.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and patient service, including accommodating walk-in patients and adhering to scheduled office hours.
  • Participate in a rotational on-call coverage system, ensuring timely responses to patient inquiries and maintaining accurate documentation of all interactions.
  • Meet defined productivity expectations specific to the specialty and site.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly to support billing and reimbursement processes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid medical license to practice in New York State.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
