Mental Health Psychiatric Care Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Psychiatric Care Specialist to provide high-quality psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and treatment services to individuals experiencing behavioral health concerns.
About the Role
This is an independent contractor position that requires collaboration with a licensed physician in accordance with the CRNP Collaborative Agreement filed with the State.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered, trauma-informed psychiatric care for individuals with various behavioral health concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations to aid in treatment planning.
- Consult with medical and behavioral health teams as necessary for individuals diagnosed with co-occurring disorders.
- Manage medications targeting psychiatric concerns, ensuring adherence to all relevant State regulations and Agency policies.
- Assist in developing and maintaining appropriate treatment protocols.
- Promote integrated care by consulting with Primary Care Physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with State regulations, Agency policies, and managed health care requirements.
- Complete Managed Health Care and insurance forms as requested.
- Attend Agency meetings and case conferences as required.
- Participate in mandatory training to maintain state, CBH, and NIAC credentialing.
- Fulfill all applicable policies, federal, state, and local laws, and Interact's Code of Conduct.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Clinical Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) certified in psychiatry.
- Two years' experience providing psychiatric care in a community mental health setting.
- Current Pennsylvania License; Current DEA license.
- Clearance in accordance with PA Acts 33 & 80.
Benefits and Compensation
The Agency will provide office space and support services, including administrative assistance, phone, computer, IT support, office supplies, and access to RELIAS for training and professional development. The independent contractor will be paid an agreed-upon rate per hour for billable services provided. Invoices must be submitted by the end of business day on Mondays, accompanied by completed progress notes and up-to-date treatment plans. Late invoices may require approval from the program administrator.
Location
We are based in [Location], PA, and offer competitive compensation and benefits to qualified candidates. Estimated annual salary range: $155,000 - $175,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
