Position Overview

Clinical Support Team Member

As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for a variety of clinical support duties. These include preparing patients for their appointments, measuring vital signs, performing blood tests, administering vaccinations, making follow-up calls to patients, liaising with pharmacies, and managing prior authorization requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient intake interviews and record vital signs
  • Prepare patients for medical examinations
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and medical procedures
  • Perform health screenings and support medical interventions
  • Carry out laboratory tests under supervision
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper stocking of examination rooms
  • Sterilize medical instruments and confirm availability of necessary equipment
  • Review patient medications and manage prescription renewals
  • Administer screening tests and provide treatments as instructed

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a CMA or LPN
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background
