Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Concentra. As a valued member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. Our mission is to improve the health of America's workforce, one patient at a time.

Responsibilities
  • Perform medical assessments of patients and compile medical data and results of examination.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
  • Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
  • Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
  • Assists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
  • Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.

Requirements
  • Masters in Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing
  • NCCPA or CRNP certified
  • Current licensed physician assistant or nurse practitioner in Ohio
  • Must maintain state licensure throughout the course of employment
  • DOT/FMCSA certification (can be earned during credentialing)
