We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Providence Medical Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Room patients and take vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • Conduct patient interviews and histories, and prepare patients for examinations, tests, and treatments.
  • Assist with procedures as ordered by the provider, and may assist in examinations, carry out treatments, and special tests.
  • Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms for patients.
  • Collect samples, such as blood, urine, and sputum, from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certificate from a Medical Assisting Program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, computer skills, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instruments.
  • Ability to draw blood.
