Counselor Supervisor Job Description

BayMark Health Services is seeking a qualified Counselor Supervisor to join our team. As a Counselor Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care in our outpatient clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise all intake operations to ensure timely and accurate assessments.
  • Review intake assessments for quality and provide feedback to staff.
  • Provide direct supervision to clinicians, including in-service trainings, guest speakers, and literature reviews.
  • Manage all counseling staff, including performance improvement discussions, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Provide guidance and support to counselors seeking licensure and certification.
  • Conduct employment interviews with Clinical Manager and Practice Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree (MLADC) or a LADC with an LCS.
  • Prior supervisory experience, self-motivation, and direction.
  • Positive attitude toward chemically dependent patients and experience working with this population.
  • Satisfactory criminal background and drug screen.
