Job Title: Substance Abuse Counselor

Job Summary:

Center Point, Inc is seeking a qualified Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive substance abuse treatment services to clients in a residential and outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening and assessments for substance abuse treatment
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Facilitate relapse prevention and continuing care services
  • Provide follow-up and aftercare counseling and case management

Requirements:

  • Registered or certified Substance Abuse Counselor with a State of California Accredited Institution
  • 2 years of experience working with clients in a substance abuse treatment program
  • Knowledge of evidence-based substance abuse treatment models and treatment modalities
  • Ability to pass and maintain a criminal justice security clearance
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical Supervision toward licensure for AMFT, APCC, and ACSW-level clinicians
  • Experience working with clients in a residential and outpatient setting
