SP Plus Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to airport patrons, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet airport patrons at loading platforms, providing assistance with baggage, information, and directions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to ensure smooth operation and facilitation of service.
- Maintain orderly queuing and board passengers according to designed procedures.
- Assist in providing timely rotation of buses through orderly passenger queuing techniques.
- Provide timely updates and information to patrons, ensuring a positive experience.
- Complete reports related to assistance provided.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Work Environment
- Work in a moderate to loud noise environment.
- Exposure to vehicle emissions and extreme hot/cold temperatures.
- Work in all weather conditions, including precipitation and wind.
- Exposure to bright sunlight and nighttime working conditions.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
