Microsoft Business Central System Administrator/Analyst Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Business Central Administrator and Analyst to manage, optimize, and analyze our ERP system within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for both the technical administration and functional analysis of Business Central, ensuring system efficiency and alignment with business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring system stability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings to maintain compliance and protect sensitive information.
  • Perform routine system updates, backups, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation.
  • Integrate Business Central with other systems such as CRM, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and third-party applications.
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to support system upgrades, migrations, and any required customizations.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address any technical issues.
  • Identify and resolve errors, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies in the system.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to users, assisting them with system-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV), preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Central configuration, security settings, and customization options.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, and other reporting tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, including production planning, inventory, and supply chain management.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
