About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our team at Hargrove Engineers & Constructors. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in improving the reliability and sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sustainable reliability performance by leveraging best practices and effective tools and techniques.
  • Provide technical support to production and maintenance personnel in areas such as criticality analysis, root cause failure analysis, and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor and create KPI data to identify and resolve reliability issues proactively.
  • Lead the mechanical bad actor program to develop and implement sustainable solutions that optimize cost and improve asset effectiveness.
  • Develop equipment repair procedures and specifications to improve plant and equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance personnel to provide training and services related to equipment operation, design review, repair, and maintenance.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and optimizing risk-based PM and PdM programs.
  • Lead culture change and promote continuous improvement using LEAN manufacturing tools and Six Sigma methodology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with formal reliability programs such as TPM, RCM, and RCFA.
  • Familiarity with rotating equipment installation and predictive maintenance methods.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer skills, including CMMS software (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office suite of products.
