Position Overview

The 3PL Non-Production Stores Oversight Specialist for BlueOval SK Battery Plants will have a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the launch of our facilities in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and Stanton, Tennessee. This role is integral to the development of a third-party labor provider across multiple large-scale warehousing sites. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the organizational development of the 3PL.
  • Refining the scope and expectations for the 3PL at each location.
  • Ensuring effective warehousing inventory management processes are established to foster a successful partnership between BlueOval SK and the 3PL.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to determine material requirements that align with operational needs.
  • Supporting the creation of ordering procedures for maintenance and operations teams.
  • Developing and managing performance KPIs for the 3PL.
  • Facilitating regular business reviews between BlueOval SK and the selected 3PL.
  • Contributing to annual budget planning and invoice monitoring to meet financial objectives.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement with the 3PL.
  • Championing a safety-first culture with the 3PL.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to effectively engage with plant personnel and management.
  • Strong presentation skills for plant leadership.
  • Competence in utilizing data for informed decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance or tooling.
  • Solid understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields is preferred.
  • Background in Material Planning and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles for material replenishment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in non-production material management within a plant environment.
