This position is responsible for teaching AP Computer Science Principles courses and other academic endorsement areas of need at the 9-12 level. The ideal candidate will have a TN Education License and certification for AP Computer Science Principles courses, as well as successful teaching experience and completion of required training to teach AP Computer Science Principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach AP Computer Science Principles courses and other academic endorsement areas of need at the 9-12 level.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful AP teaching experience.
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
