Job Title: Architectural Production Manager

Ashton Woods is a leading home builder in the United States, known for its innovative approach to homebuilding. We are seeking an experienced Architectural Production Manager to join our Corporate Shared Services Team.

Job Summary:

The Architectural Production Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive architectural support to our Corporate Shared Services Team, serving both the Ashton Woods and Starlight Homes Divisional Units. This role will involve working with AutoCAD & Revit systems to modify, maintain, and create residential construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and QC review of work from internal and external drafting resources
  • Responsible for creating dwf redlines for various projects
  • Manage the workflow from outside consultants back to Corporate in an on-time and accurate manner
  • Communicate project-level details with division-level peers, while managing the overall project scope, budget, and timetable
  • Maintain construction documents, plan revisions, and create new products (DD/CDs)
  • Assist in Quality Control review process of outsource product development for all phases of production
  • Review and correct plans as needed for Problem Area Reports (PARs)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years)
  • Must be detailed-oriented and experienced with working in a challenging, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
  • Proficient in AutoCAD & Revit with good knowledge of residential construction
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, timely completion of projects, makes time for unplanned assignments, adapts to changing priorities
  • Respects all members; solicits other's opinions; supports and complies with team decisions; share useful information
  • Ability to adapt in a changing workplace and work with limited supervision
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 4-6 years of experience in residential architectural production required
Working Conditions:

Work is generally performed in a typical office environment using standard office equipment. Work is typically sedentary in nature, but some walking and standing may be required. Fast-paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short-notice activity.
