Overview:

Performance Foodservice is a leading food distributor that delivers high-quality products to various customers across the country. As a Freight Delivery Coordinator - CDL Class A, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of food products while maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Salary:
$1,600 per week average, up to $1,950+ per week after training, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to perform safety inspections and manage delivery paperwork accurately. With competitive pay and benefits, this position is vital in supporting the food supply chain in America.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely responses.
  2. Perform safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, and report any issues or repairs required.
  3. Maintain DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  4. Deliver and unload food products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  5. Manage delivery paperwork and complete necessary tasks.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • • Valid CDL A
  • • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • • Must be 21 years of age
  • • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
