Senior Cybersecurity Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cybersecurity Manager to join our Aerospace and Defense team. This role involves leading complex cybersecurity engagements, managing budgets, and ensuring quality implementation within the team.

About the Position

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled cybersecurity professional to contribute to the growth of our A&D practice.
  • The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, implementing, and managing solutions across cybersecurity domains.
  • They will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop teams of managers, consultants, and security analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage large-scale complex cybersecurity engagements, working closely with clients and Accenture teams to design and implement program strategies for cybersecurity.
  2. Analyze clients' security posture to create current state assessments, gap analyses, and strategic implementation roadmaps, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  3. Develop and integrate cybersecurity metrics and reporting programs for key security, privacy, risk, compliance, and service continuity indicators against regulatory standards.
  4. Maintain positive rapport with client relationships through effective communications and play a substantive or lead role in establishing and maintaining quality internal and external communications.
  5. Work collaboratively with Senior Executives and Senior Managers across the A&D client account teams to drive work across the industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity and Information Technology in the Aerospace and Defense Industry and government.
  • Minimum 8 years of overall technical hands-on security experience.
  • Minimum 8 years management experience (people and programs/projects).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in designing, developing, implementing, and managing solutions across cybersecurity domains.
  • Industry recognized security qualifications, such as CISSP.

  • Prior experience in a client-facing, consulting environment, managing and directing project teams of consultants.
  • A strong reputation and presence in the security industry.
  • A robust knowledge of security vendors in key security domains, and detailed security product capabilities.
  • Must be conversant in security issues, cyber threats, and vulnerability trends.
  • Must be conversant in project management principles and project quality methods.

Compensation

Annual Salary Range: $122,700 to $338,300 depending on location.
