Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in San Diego, California. This role involves designing and maintaining network routing and switching systems, deploying and maintaining network information and event management systems, and ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and network engineering, with experience in working with firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and software-defined architectures. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

This role requires the following key responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing network security protocols and procedures
  • Maintaining and updating cybersecurity policies and procedures
  • Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
  • Developing and implementing incident response plans
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cybersecurity best practices


Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field, such as computer science, cybersecurity, or engineering. You must also have at least 8 years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity, with a proven track record of success in designing and implementing secure network systems.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $107,300 - $134,100 per year, based on location and level of experience.
